What to expect before, during, and after your casting read.
What should I upload?
Recent headshots or clear, well-lit photos of you — typically three to five.
Avoid heavy filters, group shots, or images more than a couple of years old.
Your report can only interpret the materials you upload, so choose photos that represent how you’re currently introducing yourself to casting.
Why does casting age matter more than my real age?
Casting responds to how you currently present on camera, which often differs from your date of birth.
Your report suggests a range your present materials may reasonably support — useful for choosing roles and submissions.
How is the analysis produced?
Your report combines visual analysis with casting-informed guidance to interpret how your current materials may read.
It isn’t an industry ruling, and it won’t define your career.
Think of it as one thoughtful perspective — something to test, refine, and use alongside your own instincts.
Who can see my photos?
Your photos and reports are tied to your account and are not shown publicly or shared with casting professionals.
We don’t sell your images or use them in marketing.

No.
Wild Thespian isn’t trying to predict your career.
It’s designed to help you understand how your current materials may be coming across and give you useful directions to explore.
Great actors regularly surprise people, and many careers grow far beyond an initial casting lane.
Why doesn't it compare me to celebrities?
Celebrity comparisons can be fun, but they’re often based on appearance.
Casting Reference focuses instead on storytelling: characters and performances that illuminate a similar casting function, contradiction, tone, or way of operating in a scene.
The goal is not to tell you who you resemble.
It’s to give you something useful to study.
Can I delete my photos?
Yes.
You can remove uploaded photos from your account at any time.
You can also ask us to delete your account and associated reports by emailing hello@wildthespian.com.
Do you offer refunds?
Our refund policy is being finalized.
