Wild Thespian exists to close the gap between what actors intend to communicate and what their materials actually say in the room.
I love actors.
I love watching someone walk into a scene and instantly make me understand who they are—not because of what they're wearing or how they're speaking, but because something about them just clicks.
I've also noticed that actors are constantly trying to answer impossible questions:
"What am I?"
"How do casting directors see me?"
"Should I cut my hair?"
"Am I a lead?"
"Do I look too nice?"
"Why do I keep getting called in for lawyers?"
Some of those questions have answers. Some don't. This is my attempt at exploring them.
